VHAI in collaboration with Bihar Voluntary Health Association conducted a Media Sensitization Workshop on Child Labour and Child Rights on February 9th, 2010 at Hotel Ambassador, Rajendra Path, Patna.

The programme was attended by Mr. Ram Shankar Chaurasia, National Chairman of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Dr. Mahavir Das, Ex - Director in Chief, Health Services, Government of Bihar and Principal Investigator, Tobacco Cessation Centre, Patna, Dr. M. K. Sahani, President Bihar Voluntary Health Association, Ms. Ruchira Neog, Coordinator Media, VHAI, Mr. Swapan Majumdar, Executive Director, BVHA, Patna, Dr. Mokhtarul Haque, State Coordinator of Bachpan Bachao Andolan and Mr. Khursid Ekram Ansari, Programme Officer, BVHA, Patna.

The programme was also well attended by members of both the Print and Electronic media. The media was updated on the PIL that has been filed in the Supreme Court and the recommendations of the Round Table were also shared with the group.
