VHAI in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Voluntary Health Association conducted a Media Sensitization Meeting on Child Labour and Child Rights on 24th February 2010 at Press Club, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

The workshop was organized in relation to the recommendations made at Round Table Meeting on Child Labour Concerns in Bidi Industry held during the month of January 2010 at Secunderabad which was attended by various member organizations from different districts namely Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Medak, Ranga Reddy Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, Ananthapur and Nellore Districts.

Ruchira Neog from VHAI attended the workshop as one of the key resource person. The meeting was well attended by representatives from both the Print and Electronic media.
