The Central Team of VHAI, Delhi and its state partners participated in the capacity building workshop for NGO Personnel on Tobacco Control being organized by Hriday-AFTC on
February 2 – 3, 2009 at PHD House, New Delhi.


The workshop was organized to train and build capacity of new NGOs from multidisciplinary backgrounds on tobacco control issues. The two day training workshop was to capacitate NGOs in undertaking advocacy at state and district levels to upscale the enforcement of tobacco control laws as well as to provide fillip to the tobacco control movement in India.
